The programme was a great succes in the UK and Ireland and proved to the Irish and British meat industry that profitability can be increased by focussing on trageted education for the meat industry with a blend of classical managerial tools, taught by the universities and tools and techniques for optimisation and production control on the production floor, taught by the Danish Meat Trade Center.
Another international managment programme "Diploma in Meat Operations management" has been developed in cooperation between Cranfield University , Harper Adams University College and The Danish Meat Trade College,
