The aim of the projects is to improve the quality of pork and pork products for the consumer and to develop innovative, integrated and sustainable pork production chains with low environmental impact .

Additionally nine E-learning resources are developed in order to disseminate the knowledge to the industry and educational institutions. The materials are at disposal free of charge on the Q-PorkChains website
”Experience the Sound through Regional Food Culture ” financed by EU with Interreg funds and is running through year 2010-2013

The project shall stimulate exchange of experience and competences and strengthen the cross country network between the region of Sealand/Lolland-Falster in Denmark and and Scania in Sweden and strengthen competences among
Regional food producers in branding and marketing of own products via among other events and cooperation with tourist organisations etc. The local regional network is part of the European network Regional Culinary Heritage (www.culinary-heritage.com)
