Participation of the Danish Meat Trade College in two International Leonardo de Vinci projects:
The Danish Meat Trade College has during the last two years taken part in a Leonardo da Vinci Partnership project “Nordic/Baltic Red Meat Forum” together with partners from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Norway. One of the important results was running of a Nordic/Baltic Competition for young butchers in Oslo. You will find more information and pictures from this event here:

What SLMSC will do …
SLMSC aims to improve the quality of vocational training available to local abattoirs and meat processors by developing a dynamic training course based on the successful Master Meat Circle course developed under the LEADER Programme in Ireland. The overall goal is to enable small abattoirs, butchers and meat processors to add value to their products and services in order to survive, and thrive, in an increasingly competitive market.
Free on-line training material for SME’s in the meat sector… how to improve your business - do what you do, only better..!! Developed in a Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation project in cooperation with experienced partners in Ireland, Finland and Spain and available on the web-page www.slmsc-project.eu in four language versions.
